Sienna is already looking forward to turning eight and getting baptized next year. A couple of weeks ago she announced that she wanted to get baptized Aug. 8th. First, eight was her number at school so it is her favorite number right now, and second, she is turning eight so then the date would be 8-8.When we looked at the calendar, we noticed that the 8th would be a Thursday and wondered if our bishop would go along. When I mentioned it to our primary president, Traci Ae, she thought it was a cute story and suggested that we started at 8:00. I told her that was too late so we will probably do it at 6:08 or according to military time 18:08.
Bishop Wagner wondered why we needed to discuss this baptism so far in advance, but Sienna is a planner and likes to make things happen.
