Happy Birthday Sienna

Last night, Sienna announced, "This is my last night being five." We wished her a happy and enjoyable last sleep. She has been anticipating her birthday with a lot of excitement. She has watched the calendar and counted down to her birthday for a few weeks now. She would say, "Not this Wednesday, or the next Wednesday but the Wednesday after that."

Today she has been the "cruise director" and chosen all the activities. She and her brother helped me decorate her cake. We did a ballroom cake with Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip dancing in the middle. We also decorated the house with pictures of princesses, balloons and streamers. We went and rode bikes, collected leaves and played on the equipment at Carl's Jr. We did not eat there because she wanted Baby-Back Ribs. We picked up the ribs from Wood Ranch BBQ and then made the BBQ Chicken salad at home. We don't order the salad anymore because the chef changed the recipe and we prefer the original one (my version is not too bad).
