Let's Go Fly a Kite

We got a kite from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas. It has been so windy here, that we were able to go to the park and fly it a few times.
The first time we went, we were able to extend the kite and use up ALL the string. We were all amazed. We were so successful keeping the kite in the sky that we tried making the kite do loops. We came home wanting to do some research on how to do tricks with kites. My memories of flying a kite always ended in frustration because we spent the entire time trying to keep it up in the air.

I guess if you have a good kite and the right elements, it works out and it's a fun activity.
We are planning to go to the beach on Saturday because it is always windy there. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa--we love the kite.
