Today we are having a hockey birthday for Breven. We made a hockey puck cake and even found some hockey plates and cups. From the pictures, I'm sure you can see that Breven loves hockey right now. We don't even park the cars in the garage anymore because he wants to have the nets out and play.
Smokey is amazed how quickly he can pick up little tricks. Breven can flip a puck up on his stick, and he knows the difference between a wrist shot, slap shot, snap shot and backhand. Smokey is convinced that Breven will be a very good player. Unfortunately, he won't be able to play on a serious team because the games are on Sunday here. We might have to be like Goldie Hawn and move back to Canada to let Breven play on a real team.
The "Hockey Song" by Jugheads is playing for Breven. He loves this song and requests it at bedtime too. He really is "Hockey, hockey, hockey all the time." (Listen to the song, if you can get pass the twang).
Breven is a sweet and patient boy. If he gets a treat from school or somewhere else, he will always want to save part of it for "Yaya" (Sienna). When we pick him up after school, he comes running up giving hugs.
Some of Breven's favorite sayings are "super" and "maybe so." Everything is "super"--super hot, super big, super fast, super long, super cool, super yummy, super hungry. If he is solving a problem he will usually add "maybe so" to the end. For example, the other day he said, "Caden is crying, Caden eat, stop crying, maybe so."
Have a Happy Birthday my sweet guy!!

What were you doing up at 2:16am? We had to stop parking in the garage too so Jacob can skateboard. Happy Birthday Breven!
